Last year we began work on a home renovation for a client in Michiana. We just finished up the home and have final photos coming soon, but in the meantime, we wanted to share a few before & after shots of the modern updates we have made.
The great room gets a bright, white coat of paint making the room feel much larger and transforming it into a tranquil, sunlit space.
The fireplace built-in was demo’d, drywall was repaired and new framing for the hearth was added. New stairs and floors were installed on the second floor and refinished on the first floor, taking them from a drab yellow stain to a beautiful warm gray. The 1990’s paint colors are now white, making the entire space feel more cohesive, light and bright.
